Default Header Installation Question

I have headers and I wish to install them. Is it necessary to seperate the engine from the tranny and lift it to install, snake them in underneath the car, or snake them in from the top????? Suggestions please.

What kinda headers? Engine does not need to come out or anything to put them on, generally. Might have to take out some spark plugs, though.

I had to raise my headers up from underneath.

My 1 5/8 Hookers came in from the bottom. Just had to remove some plugs and linkage on the drivers side. The passenger side just slipped in. There should be enough room there to put them in without moving the engine or trans.
I'm hoping my 1 3/4 Hookers are the same.

Mine went in from beneath, I just got the car a foot or so off the ground. The higher you get it, the easier to install they are. The biggest ladydog was getting the old OEM manifolds and smog poop off...

Hah mine was the opposite. PITA getting the passenger side one on. The driver's side slipped right up there without any issues, except a few plug wires in the way.

Just get the front end in the air, crawl underneath and slide em up and bolt em up.

Keep them wrapped in plastic while getting them in position because the ceramic coating will scratch.
