I could get the passenger side out no problem but on the drivers side the steering sector is in the way of getting it out. how did you get yours out? I am allways looking for an easier way to get the job done
I just tipped the front of the header up in an angle and slid it in place, course I had the car raised high on stands. Hookers 2.125" tubes.
I will continue to do so until some company makes C3 headers that actually fit C3
"they do" unfortunately they are custom built right on the car, fit BETTER than a glove and cost $1700 (pre coating) triple steps and worth EVERY penny.

Who peroforms this service?
You would also be on the line for air fare and a shop with tools if I am reading this right?
Thanks.
My headers were built (on the car) by Performance Stainless in Appleton WI and NO they are not stainless steel (those were about $5K), mine are carbon steel. It would likely cost you more as my body comes off, making it easier for them (and me) to work on the car. The fit is fantastic and even better they were designed to make horsepower (hence the triple steps)....but you being from TX might visit LG Motorsports they might consider building you a set for a C-3 in the off season.
