I believe the diameter of the front spindle is larger on '69 than it is on '68.

I have a 66 and a 70.... with the spindles in question, but neither front end is apart right now. If no one has the numbers, look up the wheel bearing number generic, get a tech spec on the ID.

Small spindle takes a BCA A2 outer, A6 inner.
Large spindle takes a BCA A3 outer, A5 inner.

If you're going to buy front wheel bearings for your 68 spindles, keep in mind that they are the same parts that were used in the 67 Corvettes. Similarly if you ever want to buy 68 front wheel spindles, the 68 and 67 are the same.

If you have a 68 and for what ever reason, you need to buy new front wheel spindles, I'd recommend buying 1969 to 1982 (?) spindles, since hubs/bearings are much more available. If you have a 68 and buy the later spindles/hubs I don't think anyone will ever know.

PS: The 68 spindles have a different looking dust cap than 69. The 68's have a protruding dimple in the middle. Exact 68 repro's are available.

68 spindles are 1.250 rear and .750 front. Don't have a 69-up to measure.
