What thread size are the inner and outer tie rod ends (on a 69 if that makes a difference)

In answer to your question, the thread size is 5/8 fine thread. I have just finished making a set of stainless steel adjuster sleeves for my 77, and I think the same rod ends are used.

p/s rember only 2 are 5/8 right hand fine thread, the other 2 are 5/8 left hand fine thread

The thread sizes are 5/8-18R and 5/8-18L.

Left hand theaded tie rods are on the outside and 5/8th right hand threaded tie rods are in the middle.
