They are not working in my 77 corvette and I need them to get my tags renewed. I hooked up a spare motor, but it does not work either. I have made sure both grounds are working and even grounded them to the alternator ground. I am not sure what signals are suppose to come thru the yellow and lt. blue wire. I assume that one must be hot. All other switches and gauges work properly. This wiring stuff can be pretty frustrating. Any ideas what to try next?
Thanks
Use a muli-meter to check the wires, either that or just a 12V light. Hook positive up to one of the wires and ground it. Then, turn on the wipers and see which one is hot. One of the major problems with these wipers is people don't know which bolt on the starter to ground it to. It's a 3/8" end and looks like it fits on the POSITIVE bolt on the starter which is a Check to make sure it's on the ground bolt on the starter. If you're getting no power from those two wires, I'd suspect the switch.
I am not sure about specific years but have been told of a relay in the passenger side storage compartment. Heard it had been discontinued and the best fix was to bypass it. Try doing a search.
mine would stop mid swing and then start when i hit the brakes. i took the wiring plug out ever so slightly bent the conectors and gave it all a helthy coat of WD40. no trouble since,(knock on wood)
but a frend of mine has had trouble with his switch.
so ck all the power & grounds. GL
Thanks for all of the suggestions. I will recheck all connections. Can anyone confirm the wiper relay suggestion? My horn did not work until I replaced the horn relay, so I guess a wiper relay is possible. My search for such a relay did not turn up anything.

The middle yellow wire should be hot...I have tapped into that wire to power my carb electric choke...if that's not hot with key on, you prob have a fuse gone bad...check your fuses...
did you check to be sure the switch under the steering colum is turned on? It is there so you can change the wiper blades. Perhaps you are not aware that there is one ??
