Default delay on dome light

Does anyone know how to shorten the time that the dome light stays on after leaving your vette? Or can it be rigged so the light just shuts off after the door is closed? I have an 82.

Just remove the interior light timer . It is taped to the harness behind the glove-box. It is 2x2x1/2 inch and orange color, I believe.

That wont quite do it. You will need to tie the two white wires together. That will make it operate mechanically with the door switches.

Thank you very much for all your help. I removed the delay box and after blowing the fuse twice was able to wire in a jumper. This forum is awesome.

P.S. Howzit C3 in Hawaii, by the way my log in name was my call sign in Iraq not the type of food I like to eat. (inside Hawaii joke for all you not familiar with some of the favorite foods of the locals)
