Default Diff rebuild

Had my diff rebuilt by the local shop. With my permission they filled it with 2 qts factory lube (90 wt?) and 1 bottle of GM diff additive. Is 2 qts the correct amount for the diff? Can the diff be over filled? Is 1 or 2 bottles of GM diff additive the correct amount?

Second subject - Does anyone know where to get more original looking axel u-joints? The new ones I have are from Spicer and have blue seals and a grease nipple. Originals have black seals and no grease fitting.

Thanks for any replies

2 qts is fine. I use 2 bottle of the additive but 1 should be OK.
The solid Spicers I have come with a black band and no grease fitting. Find a set of solids if that is what you are looking for.

Neal, I went with the solid spicers just like gordonM. - same black seals / no grease fittings. Just got back form a quick overseas trip, so I'll be back under the '78.

Van steel told me I only needed the 1 bottle of additive and to put it in first before the two qts of lube.
