Default Transmission Modulator Valve. ? as to replacing

When replacing the Transmission Modulator Valve do I need to drop the tranny pan to put a c clip in place or does the gasket hold it in place to the tranny? Simple question because mine just blew out and drained the fluid down the driveway. Just got done installing the tranny and I think I might have missed something. like a c ring

The Modulator Has A Clamp Arrangement Similar To The Distributor Hold Down Clamp.

No Reason To Drop The Pan. Normally You Would Lose Some Fluid When You Pull The Modulator Out, But It Sounds Like That Has Already Happened.

Hold The Modulator Tight Against The New O Ring While Tightening The Hold Down Clamp.

Good Luck.

This hold down clamp does not exist on any website or local auto part stores. I know I lost it when dropping the tranny. I will figure out a bubba clamp I'm sure. thanks
