Default GMPP Vortec Bowtie Heads?

Part # 25534421
Ive been looking at these since they were released over a year ago. Ive been wanting to use them in a new zz4 400hp build. My reservations with them is still the exhaust port location. Are they raised or changed so much that Hooker sidemount exhaust would not fit without major mod to them. Has anyone got these heads? and knows what goes on when hooking up headers to them, especial hooker side mounts. Thanks..

Here they are as advertized at Scoggin Dickey.

Nope, maybe the bare head is, but not the complete ones. Thanks for keeping this thread alive though.
I've almost given up that anyone has these heads on a c3 engine, with or without hooker sidemounts
I tried the guys at sallee a year ago, they didnt know at that time, Im back on sallee discusion board with the question now, but Ive got a pretty good hunch that Id have to really on the hookers to get them to mount up to those heads. Im looking at other combos now.
Thanks again..

Have you thought about aluminum heads. I used the Holley Systemax 2 set up on my '69 Camaro. It came with the heads, intake,Lunati cam, pushrods, timing set, and related hardware. The motor makes good power, has a nice lopey idle, and in general makes the car a ball to drive. The best part is it's only about $1400 from Jegs. Just a thought.

Hmm, Brodix put time and thought into those heads for us non-race applications, thats certain. The 180's are ideal. "Iron Killers" eh..ha.
Thanks Nitromad..I got that ad bookmarked, its a dandy.
