Default Flex-a-lite fan, will it fit a C3?

I have a chance to get this felx-a-lite dual fan and want to be sure it will fit my small block dewitts direct fit radiator in my 70, and if it's a good fan. Thanks for the input as always.

I have them on my '80 with a Griffin rad, sitting at idle on hot day they don't do the job on my ~550HP small block as the temp keeps going up. As soon as I move it is fine, just sitting dosen't seem to do the job, not sure if it is the rad or fans or both or the fact that I need something extra for the HP my motor is putting out.

I thought that the dual Flex-a-Lite's for the Corvette were 11 inch fans.

Those are the same fans that I have on my big block...................... and I will not endorse them -------- they suck !!!!....... or don't suck enough ! I researched them before I installed them 3 years ago and figured they'd work just fine --- WRONG ! The car has always run hot !
There's obviously something wrong with 1 or both of the fans because they have melted 5 fuses....... BUT they definitely don't draw enough cfm to cool my big block............... even though a number of forum members said they cooled their big blocks just fine.
The last time I overheated, it burnt up the $ 80.00 control module. I started checking into a new unit ............ and looking at fans again ! Found out a few facts that changed since I bought the set up years ago ------------ When I bought the fans, they said they would cool an engine with up to 450 hp (400 with a/c)-------------------------------- What they say now is that they will cool a motor with up to 250 hp (200 with a/c)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!----------- Excuse me.......... I would have never -- NEVER -- bought this set up for a car with this engine ! That's not even enough to cool a mild 350 !
Now that I've had my rant, I'm going to replace the crap flex-a-lites with some Zirgo fans ----------- going from 2500 cfm to 5300 cfm !!! these better keep her cool ! As I said -- Stay away from the flex-a-lites !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rick

They weren't enough for my big block. Be careful with CFM ratings, some vendors rate theirs at 14.5 volts, others at 12 volts. I noticed the specs you post don't include a voltage value.

I have them on my BBC in my 78, and I think they suck a lot of air, but not enough to cool my big block. I think this is the biggest dual-fan set-up that can be shoe-horned in. I have it on my Be-Cool radiator. I think my problem is actually evacuating the under-hood hot air. the hot air is sucked through the radiator, but doesn't have anywhere to go. I'm thinking of cutting some slots at the front of my L88 hood (making the front ornamental slots functional). I think that's why they ventilated the hood of the Grand Sports. If I'm idling, the motor will overheat, unless I have the hood raised, then it's fine.

I wired in a Painless Wiring relay setup, so that I wouldn't have a fuse or amperage draw problem. If you're not using a relay with the cooling fans, that's a crap shoot before you fry the wiring. For extra measure, I used a 30A circuit breaker instead of a fusible link, can't remember if that came with the Painless Wiring setup, it might've. I hooked up the "hot" wire to the starter, the feed to the relay is wired to the "ACC", when I turn off the motor, the fans shut off. The thermostat switch to control the relay is mounted in the water passage at the front of the intake manifold.

I have to upgrade my alternator (future Powermaster) because of the current draw. At idle, I suspect the fans draw more current than the alternator is putting out, causing the battery to drain. Combine that with night-time, headlights on, rainy day, with the defogger fan on and the windshield wipers on, and I guarantee the battery will go dead while idling.
