If someone could be so kind! Edel carb,Edel performer intake,Edel aluminum heads,Comp 268 cam,DynoMax headers,true duals,no cats.

I that the CC 268XE dual pattern, or the single pattern 268?
Stamped rockers? Stamped with roller tip? Roller rockers? -I felt a nice gain in power when I went to the CC pro-magnum roller rockers.
2.5 in or 2.25 in exhaust?
I've seen dyno #'s in Car Caft, Hot Rod, and Chevy High Performance that put the XE 268 in the 400+hp/ 425lb range.

OOPS! Sorry! 76 L-82 350 9:1 CR Just trying to put something together to get 350 to 400 HP.

You may get that HP at the flywheel. Do you have a 4-speed or auto? Is the cam a 268XE?

I have a 4 speed with a rear end with 3:70 gears. I'll use whatever cam it takes to get there.

With the 3.70 and 4speed, you can choose an agressive cam. With a 268XE or 286H, figure about 350hp. The 64cc peformer heads would gain you some additional compression and power. If you do end up adding some compression with the smaller chamber heads, I would recommend an even larger cam. A 284XE,292H or even 282S(solid) would put you at about 400hp.
