Default L88 intake manifold

I have a intake manifold from a big block that I tried for 15 years to identify. Finally I contacted Alan Colvin and he was able to find out what it is. He contacted someone from the Tonawanda assymbly plant who had documentation that it was a early '68 L88 intake. The casting number on it is 3919851 and the date is 9 20 67. It has the plenum devider cut down like the other L88 and ZL1 intakes. Has anyone else ever seen one of these? I sent it to Alan and he photographed it and it will be in the 7th revision of his Corvette numbers book.

My '69 has a 3933198 number for the L88 intake. Mine sure works well!

I wish I knew where the car is. I don't even know where the rest of the engine is or how this intake wound up here in this small town.
