I used some foil backed padding that I got at the local Good Guys hot rod show. See my previous post http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=132958. Between that and plugging up all the holes in the firewall and fixing cracks, etc, it made a big difference.

I've used the foil with insulation as well. I just got done re-doing the rear interior because it always smelled funny. I'm pretty sure it was the sound insulation that was installed over the wheel wells. I picked mine up along with the adhesive spray from JC Whitney 2 years ago because I couldn't find it at any of the local autoparts stores. I was just on their website the other day because I wasn't sure if I was going to have enough. They have several different types available.
