Shifter console panel help
The carpeted panel covers for the shifter do not seem to be held in place very well and like to slip down. I have noticed this a lot on other cars as well and I would like to make my interior perfect and that irritates me to death anyone have any tips or tricks for those panels?

you may need to pull the panels out, reglue the edges, especially the top edge. Then put in the 3 screws Bernie mentioned. with abuse/age the panels get messed up on the edges and are hard to tuck into the underside of the console correctly. Be carefull with the glue to keep it off the carpet

My old panels had taken on the consistency of cardboard over the years, so I used them as a template and cut out a new set out of hardboard I got at Lowes. Everything stays perfectly in place now.
