This post just reminded me that I have the same problem, I purchased some new visors last year and just couldn't get them to stay in place. forgot all about it, I have tried a few things with no success. I'm thinking that maybe I need new arms as well as visors, did you replace old visors?

Just kiddin, but I doubt it's your visor rod. Try a small bit of tape on your rod, your visor hole might be a bit oversize.
