This is like a "what kind of oil do you use" question. There will be a lot of opinions. I did a lot of research on calipers about a year ago by manufacturer and narrowed the search down to distributors of Lonestar and the new AC-Delco calipers. I have had quality problems with reman calipers with lip type seals over the years and would avoid lip seals, but I would choose Lonestar's with the o-ring seals if I were to go the reman route. I ended purchasing the new AC-Delco calipers for my current car, to give them a try. It's too early to tell, but so far so good. Whareas my neighbor with a '68 purchased 4 calipers from a local Auto parts chain several years ago with a lifetime warranty, and has replaced one every year (2 last year) because of leaks. Quality and reliability are important to me.

You most certainly will not go wrong with parts from VBP.
