Where do the 2 anti-submarine belts mount? I've seen where people have mounted them to the stock seatbelt holes along with the lap belts; and I have also seen them mounted on the floor with eye-bolts and snap on ends.
We're leaning the way of putting them on the floor with eye bolts, but we do not know how far back they must be mounted (The instructions we got were decidedly lacking of content..) and this could be a problem with the crossbar we have on our seat slides for the Corbeau seats (more on that when I'm unlazy enough to get a website up for it).
Can anyone help us with this that has done this installation?
The corbeau A4's that we have feel pretty good, a little tight in the shoulder area for those of us with big shoulders, not sure what exactly to do about that lol, seat padding is nice, and they look sweet, a very solid seat all around. Very nice seat back adjustments, but they do not go nearly as far forward as the stock seats do, so I'm glad we are putting them on slides..
I have the five point cam lock belts. I drilled a hole directly in front of the seat in the 45 degree part of the floor where it goes from the feet area to the raised seat area.
I just used a 3/8th Nylock with a big washer under the car.
