The really stupid part is if you get a flat & have to change it, the regular tire won't fit in the *#^! carrier. What a brilliant idea. At least the carrier on my 85 drops down so you can stow the flat away instead of putting it inside.
Make sure you have a decent tire plug repair kit & a small compressor or at least a can of that fix-a-flat crap.
