Now that my entire drive train is new or rebuilt it's now time to fix all the smaller things that have bugged me the past 2 years. My passinger window would stick going up or down, I would have to help it to move, I figured the motor and reg gear would need to be replaced. I removed the window, reg and tracks plus I removed the motor from the reg, the motor gear is fine but the reg gear is shot, it also has a toothed doubler attached with three bolts, I don't know if that is a repair but that is trashed too. I need to remove the center shaft to replace the toothed gear but it appears to be welded to a spring. How do you get the gear off this assembly? Thanks
I replaced both my regulators, was way faster and less trouble, good to go
Was window alignment a pain? I was thinking of puting everything back (rebuilt) as marked to help in alignment. There isn't alot of info on this in my manuals.
