BB Water Pump
Can anyone help with BB water pump questions? I am putting a 540 in my '75 and I may use the stock fan. What is the pilot diameter of the 75 350 fan? Some of the BB pumps have 5/8" pilot and some have 3/4".
Is any 'short' BB water pump usable with the BB, or does the vette need a special version?

I use a Team G aluminum short pump. It works fine, but you will likely need a Moroso shim kit to space the pulleys properly to line up. I use stock C-3 pulleys and a fixed 7 blade fan on my 540.
A stock replacement short pump will cool fine too.
