Default Weird Noise When Turning Right?

Only when I turn right traveling at least 10mph I hear what sounds like a short "rub" or "creak" in the front right side of the car. It is NOT the rear end - but rather something in the suspension (I think) in the front right area of the car. I have looked under there and can't seem to see anything that looks concerning but the noise is definitely there and I can repeat it pretty well on demand. The car handles find, does not pull on acceleration or braking, drives straight and tight - just this damn annoying little "grind" when I turn right at speed. And I mean like at an intersection or into my driveway - and it only lasts for like a second - real quick. If I am at a dead stop and turn right, like at a red light, no noise. Only at speed. It is almost like as the cars weight shifts during a right turn it makes the noise. Turning left is perfect. Also, if I hit the gas and back up sharply, turning the wheel to the hard right, it will make the same "grinding" noise.

Thoughts anyone? This is goofy. I don't think it is serious - just annoying

Could be lots of things. Dry joints, bushings, etc. But from the description, I would look for tire rub. Sounds like it does it with the nose down.

Default Noise

I had the same problem. Mine actually sonded like it was coming from the rear end somewhere. I had to replace the upper & lower control arm bushings. The original bushings where so worn out it was causing tire to hit the back of the fender on the bottom end. I was lucky it didn't rip my fender off.

I thought tire rub as well - at first - but there are no visible wear marks on the tire or fender - it really sounds like metal-on-metal rather than just a "rub". Almost like a very brief grinding noise.

Could it be that my 27 year old bushings have given up the ghost?
