Default Vette Brakes Traverse Front Spring

I am completing the install of VBP front traverse spring with tubeular control arms. I know I have seen this mentioned in previous posts, the steering stops hit too early. This is not my main concern, the stops don't line up right with the stop on the spindle. Any sugestions??

I cut about 1/8 inch off the stops so that I would gain back my original turning diameter. I did this in two 1/16 inch steps and checked in between to see if I was getting wheel rub on the frame.
On a side note, it sure would be nice if VB&P would have adjustable stops since everyone I know who has done this install has had the same reduced turning circle problem as I had.

Yes, I have heard of this "modification" from both members here and from VB&P. Just grind the stop till you have regained your clearance but be careful of tirerub on the fenders and frame. Good luck, let me know how it rides, I'll be installing the performance plus package once I get my body bushings and sidepipes installed. Enjoy.
