Default Were does this hose go?

I noticed the end of this hose dangling down the other day and I can't find out were the other end goes. Any ideas?

Where does it come from?

It's either a washer hose (windshield washer) or a vacuum line...

I've got that same hose and its not connected to anything....I was actually thinking about it just the other day. Im thinking it might be a drain for the wiper tray area, but not sure. Anyone else?

Yes, it's the right-side windshield wiper wash line. It runs through the firewall, up the wiper arm to the spray-end. There is another one on the left-side of the firewall too that feeds the left wiper.

Charlie, It's the vacuum control for the air damper door on the right side of your bird cage. it starts at a metal nipple under your windshield door and comes thru the fire wall as illustrated in your picture and then travels down behind your engine block and back into the car interior toward the heater controls. Come by the house and I can show you

Woops, sorry, after looking at the pic a little closer, the hose I am talking about is on the opposite side of the wiper door actuator
As stated above, it is the wiper washer water hose.

Sorry,
Bullshark

Thanks for the info. It makes sense now, because the WS washer bottle is missing, and the other side has no hose at all. More stuff to do.

My 71 had three hoses on that side. One was just dangling. I believe the Vacuum diagram shows it not hooked to anything.

You are correct. One of those goes to the wiper arm switch and is just a bleed line.
