Default Rear End Help/Build sheet help

I just pulled my tire cover completly off, to try and see if i could get my build sheet, and check my rear end numbers. Problems are this,

Coudlnt feel the build sheet, can i get it without pulling the tank out, or do i have to drop the tank?

On my rear end the tag said K 175, Does this mean it was a november 17th 1975 rear on my 78? Or maybe i mistaken the 5 for a 8... Ill double check tomorrow. But how can i check for what gear rations i have in my rear without pulling the cover off?

Hey frost bite!

I've been through this drill before but you must use a great flashlight and perhaps even a magnifying glass to pick up the entire sequence of codes. It should appear in the form of OK 311 W 7E 1

OK is the axle code or in this instance a 3.08 axle
311 is the julian date or 311th day of the year
W is for the Warren assembly plant
7 is the single digit for year (1977)
E is for the Eaton positrac assembly plant
1 is the shift

So the 175 is probably the 175th day of ???
