OK. Have a Holley 600 cfm 4 bll carb, which I referenced in another thread. Fuel was coming out the secondaries, after the motor was shut off, to the tune of a couple of minutes. Everyone suggested float\needle valve replacement, which I did. Also I should restate that the plugs are fouling out with a nice dark coating. Motor was rebuilt last fall. Anyway..... Float/needle fixed fuel run on after shutting off motor. That being said, the carb is thowning fuel into the secondaries at idle, and though I know very little aboiut carbs, I assume it should not be doing this, which is leading to the poor idle and fouled plugs. I am open to suggestions as to how to fix this. Thanks in advance.

Holley number is 0-80457S by the way. Has no external float setting.
You can also check the secondary throttle plate adjustment. It should be 1/2 to 1 turn off the stop. Adjusted with a set screw in the carb base.
If that chks ok ,then chk the float level. If you have an external adjustment and sight plug adjust until fuel just reaches the threads of the sight plug, otherwise you will have to remove the bowl and bend the tab for the proper dimension between the float and bowl while being held upside down. You can use the proper size drill bit as a gage
