trouble removing 76 steering wheel

trouble removing 76 steering wheel

I'm down to the steering wheel and extension. I can't figure out how to remove them from the column. I know they are attached to eachother. Any tips? Thanks

You just need a steering wheel puller. Remove the nut under hte horn button and then attach the puller, it will take the wheel off.

Thanks. For some odd reason, I was under the impression I didn't need to use a puller for this year steering wheel, guess I was wrong.

1976 is the one year that the hub and steering wheel are one unit on both the standard (non-adjustable) and the optional T&T columns. All other c3 steering wheels have the hub separate.
