Default Aluminum Head Spark Plug

Talked to the engine builder and he told me to use Bosch Platinum + 2 plugs. He said get them for an early 90's vette with the aluminum heads and they would work great with the engine. Anyone have any advice on plugs or a number I can use?

For aluminum heads, both AFR and Trick Flow list AC FR3LS plugs as a starting point for correct heat range. These work perfectly for me. (AFR 195's, 383 sm. blk.) This number has been changed by AC Delco and is now listed as #41-629. (Same plug).

My engine builder recommended NGKs. They come in a virtually unlimited range of types. I will be running Iridium NGK's this year. The ones supplied with the engine have gone over 23,000 miles with no problems. My engine is a 10.67:1 CR SB, with Brodix -8 pro heads w/2.055" intakes, Comp Cams 294S cam (.560 intake lift w/1.6 ratio roller rockers), 2.5" Chevy exhaust manifolds, Victor Jr intake, and Holley 750 carb with a milled choke horn.

Thanks for the advice and the numbers.

I'm using AC MR43LTS in my aluminum fast burns. I have also used Champion RS12YC, both are inexpensive plugs.
