1975 Rear Spindle Flange?
I am rebuilding my rear suspension (see my other thread). I purchased rebuilt T-Arms from Corvette America for my car. The Arms came in boxes from Van Steel and were rebuilt by them. I guess they are Corvette America's supplier for them.
I tore the leftside apart first and did it. Everything went great. I went to the rightside next and tore it apart. I opened the box and took the rightside arm out to install it and it DIDN"T have the spindle flange on it. It did have the nut on the spindle, but no flange.
So my question is I will reuse my old flange from my T-Arm, What does the spindle nut have to be torqued to. Does tighting this nut have any effect on the inner wheel bearings?

I called Van Steel and they said to torque the nut to 100ft lbs. They also told me the flange should have been installed by them when the arm was rebuilt.
On a customers job it would be installed but for Corvette America, I forgot that they sometime get them w/and w/out flanges. They stock our arms and probably pulled 2 that they didn't know were mis-matched.
