... This place (C3) is gettin' waaaay too crowded. Lord knows I've tried to bring a little organization to this place a couple of times in the past and it didn't work... Now we GOTTA do something. It used to be that you could check the forum once a day and keep up. Now we got so many people that you gotta keep your browser window open all the time and keep refreshing it just to keep up. If you check it once a day, you're gonna have to page thru 10 pages of threads....

So here's what we're gonna do....

If you got an even number license plate and your car's red, you can post on even days, but only at the time of day when you can see the moon. If it's cloudy, you're outta luck!

If you got a letter for the last character on your plates and your car's white... Go post on the C5 section of the forum. Maybe they won't notice the increase in traffic. (Exception: If you do your own wrenchin', you can post here on the 31st day of the month.)

Even number plates on a blue car.... Post on the third Sunday of months having 30 days or less.

Pink cars can post anytime.

Yellow drop tops only post on days with an "R" in the day, like Friday.

Totally stock cars can post on the first and 5th Sunday of the month.

If you got a ZZ4, with headers and a Centerforce, you can post anytime.

If you got two Vettes and one of 'em ain't a C3, you gotta go post in the other car's section of the forum. And it won't do any good to park the other Vette at your buddy's house... We'll be watchin'.

If your car's not a daily driver, you can only post here the same percentage of time that you drive your Vette as compared to you beater. Like, if you drive your Vette 10% of the time you can only spend 2.4 hours a day here... After that you gotta go somewhere else... Maybe there's a forum for beaters.

If you've got a long term project goin', and your car's up on jack stands, you can't post till you get through and get it on the road again. You CAN lurk around and hope somebody asks the question that you need to ask.

Anybody with non-stock wheels, you gotta put the stock wheels back on, complete with trim rings and center caps, before you can post. Immediately after posting, you gotta put the other wheels back on before you can read any answers to your post. Remember, you're bein' monitored, so don't try any sneaky stuff, like leaving the wheels off altogether.

If you've ever used duct tape on your car for a temporary fix to get you home & then left it on there till your kids were grown, you can post anytime... You need all the help you can get.

You guys from Australia... Y'all gotta write your posts from right to left. That's so we'll realize your're drivin' on the wrong side o' the road when you're posting.

(By the way... I'm gonna limit the number of smilies you can use. I think they're cute, but you're only gonna get to use one in evey third post. We don't want to use 'em all up too soon. And that includes smilies in your sig!)

O.K. .... I think that just about covers everybody. Remember, we'll be watchin' to be sure everybody complies with the new rules. Violators will be punished by having to spend a minimum of 8 hours a day monitoring the Ricer Forum (in the original Japanese) and presenting a detailed report to the rest of us. Second time offenders gotta put a fart pipe on their Vette and a big sticker that says "RICER".

There... I feel a whole lot better. I know this'll get us organized again. If I left anybody out, or you feel like you got a special condition that needs consideration, post it here and I'll letcha know when you can post.

Mack76 what about us Canadians AY! when should we post Canada day( July 1st) Then the problem with car colors because most Canadian vette are white in the winter. Unless of coarse we park indoors. It's been along time since youve tried to control us but hey this attempt has got to be the best one yet :cheers:

Hey, man... I speak a very little Spanish... Y'all that speak French, you're on the "Honor System"... You gotta abide by the rules and if somebody turns ya in, you're in a world of yogurt. The only French I know is "mois" & I don't know if I spelled that right... It's whatever Miss Piggy used to say... All you got to remember is French on odd days and English on even days... And Spanish in Texas. Pretty easy, huh?
