Wire brush the top threads and soak well with PB Blaster. Let sit for a day and spray again. The top nut doesn't move. The bottom long bolt screws out of the fixed nut. I used a big crescent wrench and they came right out. Had to work them in and out a little but they will unscrew.
Liquid wrench them, Then get a long wrench and a hammer... WOrked for me. If you look the inside is a weld nut, so all you have to do is put your wrench at the top of that long rod that comes out.....
I used liquid wrench spray on them let it soak for a dya, THen got the longest wrench that would fit under there and a mallet.... Came right out, try it...
awesome, thanks folk. Got em off. PB blasted them, then turned the top nut. Had to use a pretty long cheater bar to get them moving, which is why i was nervous about turning the wrong thing.
