Side Pipes
Im starting to look at side pipes for my 81 with TPI...any suggestions on what i should start look at? Also are the side pipe covers pretty much interchangeable, or are each pretty much thier own thing?

I only know of two 'covers' and they look the same... one is chrome and nearly 3 grand depending on where you look, the other is fiberglass and paintable for 400 dollars
you could do it three ways, one is either header sidepipes (hooker or patriot) and be done with it, run the stock style side exhaust setup for a 69 (with covers of your choice) or try to fab up your own side exhaust using stock covers like someone here has done (I forgot his sn hopefully someone will chime in)

i was thinking something along lines of a grated side pipe cover. I do know i dont want just pipes, i do want the covers. Are the hooker side pipes jsut pipes? I saw a recent post where someone made some custom side pipe covers i think.
