Default trans heat seal
how far forward does the foam seal on the transmission tunnel go. I believe it is glued in place. mine was missing. anyone have a picture or idea.

On my 79 TH350 tranny, the foam was back from the bellhousing about 2-3 inches.

Looks like you are asking the wrong questions again. You asked for opinions but I think I will keep it to myself since anywhere I could suggest putting it would be a very dark place. Have a great Easter weekend.
