I think someone talked of this a while back. I found some unexplained lumps
and bumps on the top side of my hood. As the pics I took today illustrate,
I'm pretty sure sun reflecting off the air cleaner lid onto the underside of the hood all day at outdoor shows is most likely the culprit....200* after only 4 minutes!

200f aint the reason...bet that it's solvents or water in the glass when hood was painted....maybe even silicones....they tend to evaporate/blister paint...
I would tend to agree, but it ain't blisters.
This just recently occured, and the car was painted 5 years ago.
The fiberglass or more than likely the filler on top
of the hood(hey the scoop wasn't perfect) acually
appears to have softened and rehardened.....
200* was only after a few minutes, it was still climbming
when I removed the therm...
