Default Neat spark plug tool for tight spaces

Made is out of an old spark plug socket, just cut the side out the size of a spark plug tower, and shaved the bottom a bit, works like a charm

I'm looking for one that is ultra thin for clearances on #1.

Outstanding Idea!

You need to get a license on that one and sell it... may be your million dollar idea!

I had to look at the link to see how this would work. It looks like the clearance around the spark plug is so tight that you cant put the socket on from a normal angle. So the cut out part allows you to put the socket on from an angle, and then seat it up right.

Is that correct.

Wouldn't a offset box end wrench work? If you can get a ratchet on, the wrench should slip over the plug also.

I just took an old wrench and cut it down to size so it fits inbetween the tubes. works great.

I have a sparkplug socket that I turned down once as thin as I dared and has worked well for many years

Same idea works well for O2 sensors, just cut all the way down to leave room for the wire.
