the recent threads got me wondering about stud sizes. i am currently running your 3" wheel adaptors for my c4 and c5 wheels (on the c3) but since i drive pretty hard and take the car to the track on occasion, changing to a 1/2" wheel stud sounds like it might be a good idea. currently, i have ARP 7/16" 2.75" studs in the spindles so i have absolutely full thread engagement. is there any reason you can think of why the wheel adaptors can't be drilled out to compensate for 1/2" deep reach lugs? is there any $#!t to worth benefit in doing this?

Did you have to drill them out to fit those?
