Default Final wiring decision: THe right one?

After looking into all the options for using my 97 computer with a new harness, I found either a the ECM will have to be reprogrammed or replaced alltogether. That along with the fact I still would need a new MAF, I am going with the 93 Painless harness 60501, and exchanging my ECM for a ODBI 93 speed density ECM fully reprogrammed for my setup:

With the exchange of my ECM, new ECM cost: $140
Painless 60501 harness cost: $400 of a total of $600

Otherwise I was looking at the painless 60502 for $600 with ecm replacement $140 and new MAF $75 for a total of $815.

Based on reccomendations ODBI is better for this type of setup, no MAF to deal with and cheaper as well.

Am I overlooking anything here or am I heading in the right direction and got it all covered?
