LT1 in a C3: Which water pump?

LT1 in a C3: Which water pump?
The motor is a 97 camaro and I need a new water pump. It seems the 93-96 corvette pump will work for this setup, with no throttle body coolant lines and the heater core outlets facing the passender side of the car.
Will I be screwing up the collant flow of the 97 camaro motor with the corvette pump?
I know corvette LT1's are preferred for this swap but want to be sure the cooling of the motor is the same...
