Roadtrip 'vette sightings
Just got back from a 3 week roadtrip with my family (had to take the Suburban :( - 5 people in a 69 won't go!). By far the greatest numbers by type that we saw were the C-3's :D. Went up through Oregon,Washington, Idaho, Montana and returned thru Nevada. Most were '74-'82 and all were in excellent condition. Saw a few C-4's in Montana and then the occasional C-5 on the freeways. One C-5 coupe was parked at a small rest stop in Idaho and left in a "hurry" as I was hangin' by the truck. Great time... Next time it will be in the 'vette.
P.S. Corvette is the featured marque at next years Monterey Historics, so it would be your chance to see all the old factory racers (think Gulf C-3's and GranSport C-2's) in action, plus a mass of Corvette's! :D
