Default A.I.R. Smog Pump Maintenance

For a 1969 Corvette, 350 300 hp engine.

Does anyone have any information about how to lubricate the bearings in the AIR Pump?

Also, I understand that there is a filter inside the housing. Any ideas of how to access this filter?

I'm not sure that there is any maintenance that can be done to these smog pumps. I'm hoping that someone will post that knows better.

No maintenance that I know of. The little "fan" behind the pulley is the "Filter".

What makes you think the bearings need lube?

Most times the pump just locks up. You can take it apart and lube the races. Most people just gut it of the vanes.
