I have an '80 with a ZZ3 and I'd like to run a better (performance) fuel pump on it, but I can't seem to find any that match these requirements:
1) mounts like the stock unit
2) non-electric
3) has a provision for the return line - every performance pump I've looked at has an inlet and an outlet but no provision for the return line.
Yeah, you can run a regulator that has a port for a return line after the high performace fuel pump that has no regulator. But you don't really need a regulator unless you have excessive psi. I have a carter high flow pump and it makes 5 psi, my Demon can take 7 psi. I just blocked the retrun line off with a vacuum plug. The high performance fuel pumps just bleed off the excessive pressure.

Appears to be a nice possible alternative to running/relying on an electric one!
Its a nice peice of equipment. I have one on my BBC but haven't run it yet. Looking forward to seeing how it works. For the cost,i hope it works great.
