Does GM keep a record of dealer #s on file from the 70's

No... At least nothing that GM wishes to make available to the general public if they do.

You might want to try the NCRS website. There is a link on the home page to a list of known zone/dealer numbers.

Triple A Enterprises (of reproduction window sticker fame) might also be able to help you inthis regard.
