Default tell me about my engine

All I've really known about the engine so far is that it was a 454, but now that I'm saving up and starting to plan some mods I'm starting to learn things and they confuse me. Do these parts all match up? Seems like I heard somewhere the LS6 intake was square port and the heads were oval?

Block
3963512....454.......70-76...2 or 4 bolt
Heads
353049.....73-84...oval...OPEN...454, 122cc chamber, 255/119cc ports
Intake
3963569 1970-71 396/402 375 L-78/L-89
454 LS-6, lowrise

Has some kind of a cam in it but fairly mild. Hooker Headers.. HOK-2123-1HKR...1-7/8 size was listed as BB and everyone said they were better to keep torque when they were put on, but now they're listed as SB headers. Has Holley 4160 but it was incorrectly converted to a 4150 and will be replaced this summer. Mallory Unilite Distributor with no vaccum advance and the brown wire thats supposed to be grounded is not hooked up for some reason.

Like I said this is pretty much what PO gave me and about all I know. Do these parts match up or do I need to switch around parts? I know all the numbers on the left hand side are correct, the descriptions I took from mortec and intake description from some random site I found. Thanks a lot.
Steven

Check the pad on the block at the front of the RH head. You will find two numbers stamped there; the engine assembly code and the vehicle code. If you post those, it would provide further information regarding your 454.

I don't have the car with me at school right now, I'm moving out next week. That weekend I'll go back home and get the car. Any idea just based on this info?

I can't find this pad you're talking about...any pics? Can anyone tell me anything without these numbers?
