Does anyone know where I can get a liquid line for the Air Conditioning System on my 82 Corvette. Parts America does not seem to have it and Ecklers is down right expensive. Other then Ecklers I have not been able to find one.
bought mine from advance auto.and i could have got one from napa. it looked like factory part.was less than $90.00
Thats funny,,..... I can't seem to find the part online at Adcance Auto. Didn't check napa yet. Are you referring to the liquid line or the suction/discharge hoses. Part #??
I believe the tube you are looking for is GM#14005072. This is a liquid line without a service port. I have been looking for this line with a service port for a year. They are very common on 77-79 or 80 but nobody seems to know the part number. If you get the number from an AIM manual, it is without a service port.
As far as cost, the one you need is not available cheap ($100+) and nobody on this earth seems to have a used one! I have called junk yards across the country and apparently all late Corvettes that are in salvage yards don't have this line (hard to believe).

Look no further. If you are willing to pay the $94.95 Check Ecklers, they have it for sure, and Corvette America also has it I believe for $85. Thats the liquid line with the service port; the one I think you are looking for. Just go to ecklers.com and type in "Liquid Line." I think I'm going to suck it up and pay.....
