Default Door jam ID plate?

Does anyone know what the code I13 means? I know 400 is black interior and 987 is orange exterior. Any Ideas? These are the only ###'s on the plate.

That's your car's birthday. It probably means April 13th, if the codes are similar to the ones used in '74.

I believe it translates into a build date of April 13 1971 in your case.

My trim plate was so smooth that I had to hold a paper over it and rub a colored pencil on it to show the letters and numbers. I just researched my 81's info. I think the letter is the month and the number is the date manufactured. I found great info in the archive topics under trim plate......I have not been able to access that info since the system has switched. I'll keep searching. Maybe someone can be of more help with the month that corresponds to "I".

Good Luck !
