Default What color??

Ok guys gonna repaint my Vette soon and I need some opinions. Pretty soon I am going to replace my red interior with the original dark blue interior and I am going to have my Vette repainted. Now I really want to get it painted Admiral Blue but white has kind of stuck on me. So should I go with admiral blue or stay with white.

PS. If someone can please show me a pic of a 80-82 Vette painted admiral blue I would really appreciate it. I can supply a picture if you want to edit it.

I am going to repaint mine soon too. I put cheap paint on it 4yrs ago and it is that time. I have tan interior, the car is red now. I was thinking of yellow. I love blue but my '00 is blue.

IMO, very very tricky what looks good when using two colors of the same vein...
dark blue exterior with ice blue interior is ok, but I had a car like that, with darker blue interior...and it blue me away....hated it...
for a blue car, white and or tan is the way to go...

I like the looks of white on a C3 over any other color.

I think the white with dark blue interior would look great.

No matter what your color is... Red, White, Black, Brown, Neon Orange.... STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL COLOR! If you want a blue corvette... buy one. If you want a white corvette... keep your white one.

Nothing pisses a person off more than when he calls to buy a corvette and they say "It is red", you ask for the paint code, and it ends up being blue.

Your resale will be MUCH MUCH greater if you keep it original, and you will get almost every penny back (as long as it is a GOOD paint job... not MAACO or anything). If you paint it blue... you might like it, but I gaurantee that an enthusiast will hate it unoriginal. And when it comes down to it, he will choose an original colored car over a different colored car anyday.

How long do you plan on keeping the car? If you plan to sell someday the factory color would be best. If, like me, you plan to keep forever, paint it the color you like.
