Powermaster XS starter
Is the Powermaster XS starter considered mini starter? Since I have burnt up the fuse link at my starter, I went ahead and bought a starter harness from Doc Rebuild. When I removed the long starter bolt to remove the ground wire from the starter. The header is in the way and you cannot remove the bolt completely from the vehicle. I cut the eye connector to remove the ground wire. I looked in Summit and Jegs catalogs and I see ads that say mini starters and the Powermaster XS does not sat it it a mini starter. I will have to remove my header to be able to remove the starter bolt to remove the starter. Also has anyone wondered why the terminal on the solenoid that the purple wire goes on is close to the block instead of being on the farther away from the block?
