Default wiper motor burnout.....

I recently replaced my engine harness, in the process I sort of burned up the ground wire to the wiper motor. Long story short, I replaced the ground running a new wire to the frame. Is it possible to burn up the wiper motor if power goes in through ground recepticle? If not...I can't figure out why the wipers don't work now. I have checked the three wires going in there is power to the blue and yellow not the green which is the furthest to the passenger side. That raises a question for me but I don't know. The door which was acting funny before now works perfect funny thing. It opens when I press the pump switch but doesn't open when I turn the wipers on, ie. the wipers don't work. Is the problem with the relay, I know the switch is connected. I also read in a recent post about the overide switch, I did connect that red wire.
any help would be well appreciated thankyou.

Ps. What does TCS stand for?
