Anyone have any problems with your overflow burping in heavy cornering ? For instance the other day I took a exit ramp a little on the quick side and it spit up all over the headers more annoying than any thing else I guess not a major problem but I would like to correct it . Is the cap on the over flow suppose to have a check valve or something ? Any mods for this
Thanks in advance John.

Most unusual. It shouldn't be that full that it can easily burp out on a corner. Is it overfilled? Should have some embossed lines that say "cold" and "hot"
Mine does too. Real pain when autocrossing, everyone says "hey, your car is leaking antifreeze". I put aluminum foil inside the cap, poked a little hole in it for air, then screwed the lid back on. Doesn't do it any more.
Mine does exactly the same thing. My overflow tank is exactly at the correct level and the cap is on, but has a spill off there designed to allow it to blow off. If I take a HARD corner it will spill out a bit and splash on the headers and a nice smelling cloud comes out. I have been thinking of plugging the blow-off hose part of the cap or else stop taking corners at 5 G's.
