Christmas in the spring That's the same cam I'll be using in my 383, along with a set of Dart Iron Eagle 200cc heads. In fact, speaking of new parts, I just got my RPM air-gap today. The UPS guy noticed the Summit box, we get to talking, and I ended up taking the cover off the Vette and letting him drool for a bit before he had to go back to his route Now when he brings my pushrods, I can get this motor done and in the car......

Bumpy cam.

I used a Comp XR282HR in my 383, good for 491 HP

.510/.520 lift 282/288 duration 230/236 duration @0.050" 110 LSA

Been very happy so far, none of the lobe wiping problems with a hydraulic roller.

Check out the Comp Pro-Magnum rockers, stainless steel with less mass over the valve than most aluminum rockers.
