Shorter Sidepipes ?

Shorter Sidepipes ?
I need to shorten up my side pipes about three inches to clear the new tires and get them out of the line of the wheel opening...
I was all set to chop up a set of new hooker side tubes tonight and I had second thoughts.
I've drawn up some ideas and selected the second design since I want to quiet the car down just a bit more. I kinda liked the look of panic's setup.

The parts are on order and I'll cut out some mounting tabs on the plasma cutter some night after work this week.

of all the sizes and tipe of mufflers i've trien on my hooker sidemount these are the best flow and the less weight, i wouldnt fix anything else...maybe too short (so not as much 'macho' as the long standard..) but they work!
